Once the rice flour sheet is ready, a mixture of dry fruits, such as cashews, almonds, and raisins, is spread over the sheet. Jaggery is then grated over the dry fruits. The sheet is then folded over the filling to form a small rectangular packet. The process is repeated to make more packets.
The dry fruit pootharekulu are then stored in an airtight container for a few hours to allow the jaggery to melt and blend with the dry fruits. The result is a sweet, crispy, and flavorful snack that is loved by all.
